  • Student Leadership

    The student leadership group together to take various leadership roles within the school. Any student can sign up to be a part of their grade's leadership group. Students meet monthly to promote:

    Event Planning: Organizing and coordinates various events such as fundraisers, social gatherings, school dances, community service activities and educational programs.
    Community engagement: Encourages student involvement in community service projects which fosters positive relationships between the school and the local community while promoting school spirit and pride.
    Communication: Serving as a communication link between the student body, faculty, and admin and gathering feedback.
    Leadership Development: Working on the Student Leadership team provides personal growth, develops teamwork and builds character.
    Collaboration: Students learn to collaborate while working on project with peers, faculty and staff.
    Mentorship: Student Leadership members serve as mentors and role models to our younger students while promoting a positive, inclusive school culture.
  • Academic Bowl

    Students have the opportunity to try our for our academic bowl teams each year. We have a 5th/6th grade team and a 7th/8th grade team that participates in various matches throughout the year against local area schools. Our academic bowl teams consistently have a strong showing and have won regional and state championships.
  • WEB

    WEB ("Where Everybody Belongs") is a middle school orientation and transition program that welcomes 5th graders and makes them feel comfortable throughout the first year of their middle school experience. Built on the belief that students can help students succeed, the program trains mentors from your 8th grade class to be WEB Leaders. As positive role models, WEB Leaders are mentors and student leaders who guide the 5th graders to discover what it takes to be successful during the transition to middle school and help facilitate 5th grade success.
  • Chess Club

    Middle school students meet weekly to learn and teach each other strategy and continue to improve their critical thinking and problem solving skills.  The facilitator helps monitor play and gives suggestions to help students elevate their game.
  • Musical Theater

    The musical theater group is a creative and collaborative ensemble of students who come together to explore and showcase their singing, acting and dancing talents. This group provides an opportunity for students to develop their performance skills, teamwork and a passion for the arts within the context of musical theater.  Each year a new musical is chosen to produce.  Rehearsals are after school twice a week, from October-March.
