Monte Cassino REACH collaborates with families to meet the needs of students.
REACH is Monte Cassino’s model of integrating enrichment, acceleration, and support to students across campus. This approach is dynamic and includes professionals, tools, strategies, assessments, and interventions. Monte Cassino REACH is an integrated, educational partner and does not offer formal, individualized, education plans.

REACH Extension

Acceleration programming provides instruction for students when curriculum does not fully satisfy a student's curiosity

List of 3 items.

  • Individualized Classes

Classes promote creativity and problem solving through project work with an emphasis on writing development
  • Pull-out or Push-in Sessions

These sessions focus on individual enrichment units of study, extension, and increased depth of instructional concepts.
  • Special Group Work

Groups are specialized to address advanced problem solving skills using a thematic approach

REACH Support

Support offers individual coaching and mentoring for both academic needs and executive skill development. Our staff helps coordinate assessments with outside professionals and specialists.

List of 3 items.

  • Executive Function

Academic Coaching supports students in their core subjects.  Classwork is initiated, assignments are verified, questions are answered and accommodated tests and quizzes take place
  • Small Group Support

Smaller group allows teachers to give students more attention, instruction and comfort, making students more comfortable and ensures students are progressing.
  • Wilson Reading System

As a recognized leader in multisensory, structured language programs, Wilson brings more than a decade of systematic and explicit instruction and helps students across our campus who: have mild gaps in decoding and spelling, who need multisensory language instruction, or more intensive structured literacy instruction due to a language based learning deficiency such as dyslexia or below average decoding and spelling scores.

REACH Service

We cannot thank you all enough for your contributions to our son's education and personal growth.  We know his math aptitude has caused you all to make special arrangements that we are so thankful for. We wish everyone could have the same experiences we have had at Monte Cassino. We love being a part of the Monte community, and we are looking forward to working with you all for years to come!
