As represented in the Monte Cassino Student Motto, "Every day at Monte Cassino School we do our best so that in all things God may be glorified," Monte Cassino Athletics encourages its students to participate in and commit to striving towards their best selves in their co-curricular activities. We aim to promote healthy living, physical fitness, the fruit of the Spirit, and athletic skill development. Monte Cassino is dedicated to helping students develop in these areas by providing the very best in coaching, competition, training, and facilities.
Monte Cassino is excited to announce the hiring of Cory Ray as our new Athletic Director, effective August 8. Cory’s experience as a collegiate-level coach and business owner, his servant-leadership mindset, and his vision to bring our community together by fostering an athletics environment where everyone feels valued and proud to be part of the MCS family were all factors that led to his selection for this position. As Athletic Director, Cory will oversee all athletic department aspects of the school.
Cory said, “I am excited to join the Monte Community because it presents an opportunity to use my expertise to improve the lives of our students. I firmly believe that sports can positively shape young individuals, instilling essential life skills that extend beyond the playing field. Being able to contribute to the holistic development of our MC student-athletes aligns perfectly with my passion for empowering young minds.”
Head of School, Chris Burke, said, “Cory’s vast and broad experience in athletics and his vision for the advancement of our athletics program and how it will serve our Saints are fully in line with our mission and values of our school. He will be a positive, dynamic addition to our team.” Cory is a Tulsa native and a self-proclaimed foodie who loves to cook, travel, do all things sports, and spend time with his family. Join us in welcoming Cory to our Monte Cassino team!
