I love the people…the students, the families and the entire community.
Why do you like teaching at Monte Cassino School? What motivated you to become a teacher at Monte Cassino?
The Students are excited about learning and with small class sizes and awesome kids, I can really teach. I came to Monte because not only did I want to teach here, this is the environment in which I wanted my own children to learn.
What is a unique experience, talent or interest that you bring to your classroom to help shape the learning experience of your students?
Can you believe that as a child I hated to read?! I understand the reluctance that some students feel and I work hard to encourage each child at their own pace to learn to love literature.
What is one of your favorite lessons, subjects or projects that you teach at Monte Cassino?
From Mo Willems to prairie animals to Native Americans, I love when students use information skills to locate and synthesize information to then produce a creative product, often using technology that they share with the class.
