Monte Cassino Octoberfest

Ladies & Gentlemen, Children of All Ages
Step Right Up to Octoberfest 2020

Come one, come all to the "Greatest School on Earth" as we celebrate our week-long Octoberfest  celebration. This is always an exciting week and this year will be no exception.  We are thrilled to announce a new, COVID-friendly line-up of festivities to celebrate our students and our school!

Octoberfest 2020 Schedule

List of 6 items.

  • Sunday, September 27 through Saturday, October 3 - Virtual Octoberfest Fun Run

Join us for our first annual Octoberfest Virtual 5K.  Register yourself, your recent MCS graduate or the whole family and get moving! Follow our 5K runners on social media. This is different than the fun run our students will have during their PE classes. See more information below.
  • Monday, September 28 through October 1 - Octoberfest Run

Monte Cassino first through eighth grade students will earn their Octoberfest Fun Run medals by racking up the laps on Saints' Field during PE classes. ECLC will still participate in their traditional mini runs.
  • Tuesday September 29 - Powder Puff Football Games

The Powder Puff Football Games are for Middle School students only and involve a highly intense rivalry between fifth vs. sixth and seventh vs. eighth grade girls! These girls are tough but don't miss the Yell Leaders, who are our very own Middle School boys.  Your player, non-player or cheerleader will receive a special Powderpuff dri-fit t-shirt, Chick-fil-a lunch and bottle of water for your registration fee.
  • Wednesday, September 30 - Octoberfest Carnival

We are bringing the Octoberfest Carnival to our students as they have never seen it... during recess!
  • Thursday, October 1 - Drive In Movie Night at the Admiral Twin

Come celebrate our community in a safe, and socially-distant way...at the drive in! We will be featuring Jurassic Park on one screen and Despicable Me 3 on the other.  You can choose which movie will be a crowd-pleaser for your crew! Gates will open at 7:00 and movies will start at 7:30.  Register for the movie by clicking the button to the right or by becoming an Octoberfest sponsor.  Check out the sponsorship options for lots of fun Drive-In Movie Night upgrades! Click the Octoberfest Sponsor Levels to the right for more details.
  • Octoberfest T-Shirts

Every student, faculty and staff member at Monte Cassino will receive a FREE Octoberfest shirt courtesy of On the Cusp Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics. Wear your shirt to the run, to the carnival, and on upcoming Spirit Days! Thank you, On the Cusp!

Join us for the 2020 Monte Cassino Octoberfest Virtual 5K

This is different than the student fun run. If you have a student participating in the fun run they will do during their PE classes, you do not need to register them for this event.
