Middle School focuses on serving the community in grade appropriate ways. Teams of students participate in these community projects and realize the impact their love and loyalty has on the Tulsa Community.

St. Elizabeth Lodge (Catholic Charities) Thanksgiving Baskets

St. Elizabeth Lodge is a local organization that helps Tulsa's single, working mothers succeed on their own. Monte Cassino fifth grade students gather food and other items to create Thanksgiving baskets for nine familes. The students deliver the baskets directly to the families at St. Elizabeth Lodge.

Salvation Army Angel Tree

Monte Cassino sixth graders participate in the highly impactful Salvation Army Angel Tree Project. In the Fall semester, students are divided up in groups.  For two months they work together or individually to earn money (e.g. raking leaves, bake sales, garage sales, cleaning out attics) before the Angel Tree shopping day. Two weeks before Christmas, all the students spend the day with their teams selecting their Angels and shopping for as many Angels as they can. Each year the students collectively raise an average of $7,000 to purchase gifts which usually provides gifts for over 150 Angels.

Monte Day of Service

Sixth to eighth grade students offer their time to help various organizations around town, such as Catholic Charities, Eugene Fields Elementary, Tulsa Food Bank, Iron Gate, Little Lighthouse, Restore Hope Ministries and Tulsa River Parks. Fifth grade students provide service hours to our school in a variety of project-oriented and team-building activities on campus.
